General

  • Ravenly is a thoughtfully designed event venue located in Maryville, Illinois, just outside St. Louis.

    Formerly a winery, the property has been reimagined into a dedicated event space focused on weddings, celebrations, and private gatherings.

  • We specialize in weddings, social celebrations, and private events. Our spaces are designed to accommodate everything from intimate gatherings to full-scale celebrations.

  • No. Ravenly operates as a private event venue and does not offer public wine tastings or open hours.

Booking & Payments

  • A signed agreement and a 50% deposit of the venue rental fee are required to secure your date.

  • The remaining balance is divided into additional payments beginning 180 days prior to your event and outlined in your invoice and payment schedule.

  • We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Credit card payments include a 3.9% processing fee.

  • No. All deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Guest Count & Planning

  • Your final guest count is due 30 days prior to your event and will be considered final at that time.

  • No. Once submitted, the final count cannot be reduced and will be used for final billing.

  • Ravenly includes a structured planning process with key meetings leading up to your event to finalize layout, timeline, bar selections, and vendor coordination.

Bar Service

  • Yes. Ravenly provides exclusive bar service for all events, and outside alcohol is not permitted.

  • All bar packages are based on a 4-hour service window. Additional time may be added.

  • Yes. We offer tiered packages ranging from beer, wine, and soda to premium liquor selections, along with zero-proof options.

  • No. Shots are not permitted at Ravenly.

  • No outside alcohol is permitted unless explicitly arranged and approved in advance under specific circumstances.

  • A 20% service charge is applied to all bar services. Clients may choose to provide gratuity in advance or allow a tip jar at the bar.

Catering & Vendors

  • Yes. Clients must select from Ravenly’s approved list of licensed and insured caterers.

  • Yes, for most vendor categories. All vendors must be licensed, insured, and approved in advance.

  • Yes. Vendors are required to carry general liability insurance and list Ravenly as additionally insured.

Venue & Setup

  • Rental includes tables, chairs, a customized floor plan, venue manager, and access to your selected spaces.

  • No. Ravenly manages venue operations and layout, but décor setup and styling are handled by your planner or vendors.

  • Furniture must be moved by Ravenly staff only with approval from the event manager.

Timing & Access

  • Access time varies by space, with most events including a set number of hours for use. Additional time can be added in advance.

  • Yes, additional time can be added for an hourly fee if arranged in advance.

  • Vendors may arrive during your contracted access time unless additional time has been arranged.

Ceremony

  • Yes. We offer both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, including the Wing, Overlook, and Lakeside Lawn.

  • Final decisions are made at your final planning meeting, with weather contingencies built into the process.

Rules & Policies

  • Due to health and licensing regulations, alcohol may not leave the venue. Food arrangements must be made with your caterer.

  • Yes. Items such as confetti, glitter, open flames, and adhesives on surfaces are not permitted.

  • Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

  • Yes. Ravenly follows all Illinois liquor laws and reserves the right to refuse service to intoxicated guests.

Final Details

  • Yes. While not required, we strongly recommend a professional planner or coordinator to ensure a seamless event experience.

  • A Ravenly Event Manager will be onsite to oversee venue operations, timeline flow, and coordination with vendors.
